NEWS: New Farmers' Health Survey

Long-Term Health Conditions and Impact on Farmers' Participation in Work

Researchers in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba are calling on all male and female farmers in Manitoba who are age 55+ to participate in a health survey on chronic health conditions, and the impact on work. Farmers are also invited to take part in one-on-one interviews about their health conditions and managing work on the farm.

We invite you to participate in the on-line health survey at

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q5R9XLT.
To receive a survey by mail or e-mail please contact Nadine Tonn, Research Assistant for Dr. Margaret Friesen, Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Medical Rehabilitation, University of Manitoba at 977-5634 or 789-3864, or by e-mail at tonn@cc.umanitoba.ca.

Your participation in this health study will contribute to a greater understanding of the health, work challenges and adaptations of farmers in Manitoba.
