Manitoba’s Climate Action Team

Manitoba’s Climate Action Team (CAT) is a coalition of Manitoban environmental organizations working to create a road to resilience in our province. With funding support from the Winnipeg Foundation, the group came together following the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) 1.5 Report that was released in October 2018, stating that we had just 12 years to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions.

Coalition members include: Climate Change Connection, Green Action Centre, Wilderness Committee, Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
