Over the course of September, your generous contributions to the Manitoba Eco-Network helped us to raise $11,600, overshooting our original goal of $10,000. We want to thank you all for your dedication to supporting the work that we do within the province!

HELP US RAISE $10,000 IN SEPTEMBER 2025

Here at the Manitoba Eco-Network, we work tirelessly everyday to amplify the voices of those who need it most, and to drive for meaningful legislative action and government policies that protect Manitobans, and our shared resources such as clean air and clean water.

This is why we need your help, and why we are asking you to commit to a monthly donation or make a one-time donation as you are able. Every little bit helps!

Your contribution will empower you to stay informed about developments in Manitoba and discover how you can make a meaningful impact. By contributing to the Manitoba Eco-Network, you'll be directly supporting our ability to:

• Amplify Community Voices: We amplify the voices and activities of environmentally focused organizations and individuals across Manitoba. We keep you informed of what is going on through our community events calendar and the Eco-Bulletin. We create networking and employment opportunities in the environmental sector through Eco-Drinks, our monthly networking event, and our Green Jobs Board. Your support allows us to keep you better informed about events and opportunities, which works to build a stronger community working for a better future.
• Advance Policies: We will continue to advance for better policies and laws through our ongoing project work, such as our Climate Safe, Green City project, and our Impact Assessment Reform project. Your support allows us to make sure that the environment and future Manitobans have a voice in the conversation. 
• Mobilize Action: We have and will continue to gather eco-focused organizations across Manitoba, and beyond . We have worked to build a broad and diverse international coalition to protect Manitoba’s watershed from mega-dairy operations in North Dakota. We have advocated with communities, like with the Sio Silica Vivian Sand Extraction Project, and brought added expertise to the table. Your support will allow us to better coordinate sector wide responses to actions that threaten the water you drink, the air you breathe and to work meaningfully with more communities as new needs develop.
• Be Proactive Instead of Reactive: too often, capacity limits our sector’s ability to be on top of all the issues and leaves us scrambling to have a response. With your support - we can change that. And we’ve already started; in the coming months we will be engaging with member organizations to start planning for the 2026 budget to ensure the environment is a focal point.  Your support allows us to put more effort in more robust campaigns that allow for more community involvement.
