POSITION: Tenant Support Coordinator

Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking to fill a full-time Tenant Support Coordinator position. The Tenant Support Program provides advocacy, educational opportunities, safety items, and support to tenants, landlords, caretakers, and rental property owners.

The eligible candidate will be able to liaise and work with all of these groups to create programs that recognize the role each plays in improving housing by understanding their rights and responsibilities. This position will address various rental safety areas currently affecting the community like security, bed bugs, maintenance of suites, hoarding, assistance with mediation, and more.

Hours:
This position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some evenings
Reports to: Director of Programming
Travel: A driver’s license is preferred, but not required. Travel is necessary, so within the city navigation skills are required. (Bus transportation with participants
