What you will do
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Environmental Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting business development. The primary responsibilities will include client management, securing new customers, and assisting with specialized contracts.
1. Client Management:
• Maintain and manage client requests, including communication, documentation
completion, and record-keeping in the database system.
• Provide clients with reports on their industrial by-products (waste).
• Analyze customer accounts.
• Maintain and update client databases.
• Partner with the Operations and Logistics teams to address customer needs.
2. Project Assistance:
• Support invoicing and preparation of supporting documentation for monthly reporting.
• Support the Projects and Field Service department as needed.
3. New Customer Inquiries:
• Establish business relationships with new clients to grow revenue and meet team
revenue objectives
• Assist senior staff with new customer inquiries through various channels such as calls,
emails and social media.
• Provide quotations, follow-up with customers, and assist in achieving revenue budgets.
4. Sales Support
• Support the Sales Department as needed to achieve revenue targets.
• Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), project production, and hourly work in CRM/ENWIS systems.
5. Administrative Support
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need
• Post-secondary education in a related field such as the traditional Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Environmental Studies and/or 2–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, industrial field service, environmental services, or a related role within the
Environmental & Industrial Field Service industry.
• A background in Chemistry would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with chemical knowledge and the ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) is an asset.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and client relation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Adobe); experience with MS Project is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capability.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with experience in managing project timelines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Willingness and aptitude for learning, both on the job and in formal settings.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
