43k for 43 Years

We're celebrating 43 years of the Manitoba Eco-Network.
Help us raise $43,000 by the end of 2026!

Our work seeks to amplify the voices of those who need it most. We drive for meaningful legislative action,  government policies that safeguard the health and wellbeing of Manitobans, and for the protection of air, water, and the living environment.

This is why we need your help, and why we are asking you to commit to a monthly donation or make a one-time donation as you are able. Every little bit helps!

By contributing to the Manitoba Eco-Network, you'll be directly supporting our ongoing projects:

  • Through our recently launched Youth Advocate Program, we are working to build up the next generation of environmental activists.
  • Our Critical Reforms: Mining in Manitoba project examines how Manitoba can modernize the provincial laws that govern mining and critical minerals, to support a more environmentally responsible and socially-just future for the province.
  • We know Manitobans want to do their part to reduce energy use and GHG emissions, but the upfront price tag for a building retrofit can be steep. That’s why we’re partnering on research with Sustainable Building Manitoba, BizforClimate, and the Environmental Law Centre to assemble a set of policy tools to help finance deep energy retrofits at scale in Manitoba.
  • We intervened alongside Environmental Defence in the recent Public Utilities Board Hearings this past summer to push back against Manitoba Hydro’s plan to build more fossil fuel power generating stations, rather than investing in wind and solar paired with battery storage (and enhanced energy conservation measures.)

And that’s just some of the work we have been up to this past year!

Stay tuned for updates! As we wrap up the end of 2026, we'll be showcasing some of the Manitoba Eco-Network's storied history across this page, and on our social media channels.
