Got an article for the next Eco-Journal? We’d love to have a look!

It's almost my first year anniversary as the editor of the Manitoba Eco Network's Eco-Journal. It is has been an absolute pleasure working with the staff and talented contributors to build four great editions (and counting!).

As I ponder the great fall dilemmas, such as "to rake, or not to rake," or vacuum up the endless waves of Asian beetles that have invaded my home, or try to select the perfect recipe for my post-Halloween jack-o-lantern scraps, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who contributes their time and energy to the Eco-Journal: you've all made my year! Thanks for everything!

We can't wait to hear about the new and exciting projects you're starting up this winter. Have you adopted any new practices that promote sustainability in your life? What new research is happening in our province that deserves the spotlight?

We would love to learn about any new programs, initiatives or developments that you may be involved in. Please send us your environmental news, scoops, and stories.

We are pretty flexible, but for those of you who would prefer guidelines: we prefer articles of 500-1200 words, and please send along a couple of high res images to complement your work.

Submission deadline is Friday, November 24th, 2017.

for more info and to submit.

If you have any events taking place from January to March that you would like to submit to our event listings page, you can do that here: info@mbeconetwork.org

Sincerely,
