We’re currently recruiting for a position of Mechanical Engineering Student for
approximately eight months.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer or designate, the
student will provide support to energy efficiency programs and initiatives at
Efficiency Manitoba, including:
• Reviewing and identifying trends in past program project data.
• Undertake market research for emerging HVAC technologies.
• Update and/or develop template calculation spreadsheets for various energy
efficient technologies, including ground source heat pumps.
• Reviewing energy consumption and performance of heat pump equipment
and installation in Manitoba.
• Assisting in the development of technical review materials and templates.
• Assisting with reviews of building energy models and extracting information to
provide high level summaries.
• Performing preliminary review of program submission materials for
compliance with program requirements.
