Land Acknowledgement

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the Manitoba Eco-Network office operates. The Manitoba Eco-Network is located in Treaty One Territory, the lands of the Anishinaabeg (Ojibwe), Ininew (Cree), Anisininiwak, and Dakota Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our drinking water comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in Treaty Three Territory and our hydroelectricity is predominantly sourced from First Nation communities along the Nelson River in Treaty Five Territory. We are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on this land.
