CSGC: Growing Shade – Document

As part of the Manitoba Eco-Network’s ongoing Climate Safe, Green City project, the Spence Neighbourhood Association’s “Growing Shade” initiative focuses on local green initiatives and increasing tree shade in the Spence neighbourhood of the West End.

This is an ongoing initiative for SNA – this spring, MbEN had the opportunity to collaborate with them on a “Growing Shade” flyer, containing useful information about the benefits of shade within a neighbourhood, how to cultivate it using greenspace, and answers to commonly asked questions that neighbourhood residents might have.
